So it is my last day of permanent casual (yes, it actually exists) employment this Friday. After these 4 trailers are done (which, miraculously, I finished 2 last week while my supervisor was on leave and I was the only guy in the area), there will be no more work for me to do at the moment. They've said that they might call back in the future if something else arises, but not to depend on it.

So, that means a few weeks break (at least), where I'll finally be able to hop back on the kit regularly again (woo!) and, more importantly, not have to wake up at fuckin 6:30AM every day!

In the meantime though, I think I'd be best off looking for another job. Preferably something in music retail, but I'm just starting to get the hang of this tradesman work, so I wouldn't completely rule out that field either.

By the same token though (though purely coincidental), I feel like I've done my time here on dA. The forums have just been getting worse, particularly in my once-humble abode, the Music Forum, as well as Deviants and even the unofficial dA 'short bus', Complaints. Add to that the fact that I'm becoming disenchanted with some of the practices of the regulars here, particularly in the Music Forum (it's probably not anyone reading this, so don't worry), as well as the fact that I don't really have time to make visual art these days, so there's really no point in me being here anymore.

I might come back sometime in future, who knows .... but at this point, I feel I've had pretty much all I can tolerate. For those of you who are receiving this journal in their message centre - you've been great e-friends, and I've had some of the greatest discussions, and cracked some of the greatest jokes, with you lot, and for that I shall be eternally grateful.
